Fitment Challenges

with Oil Filters

N.B. Important Information

Please be aware of the differently designed seals with NAPA oil filters NFO3168 and NFO3075. When replacing the filter, ensure the correct part is used as per the infographic below. Incorrect fitting of the seal can cause an oil leak and engine failure.

Although the seal is a different colour in NFO3168 to OE, it does fit and perform as per the OE.

Oil filtration manufacturers are now replacing heavier metal parts with lighter plastic to reduce the filter mass and aid in its disposal. This is reflected in the NAPA filtration range. The filter media, valves, springs, housing, and other elements are subject to rigorous testing to ensure high quality standards are maintained.

The NAPA range of filters includes a selection of over 1,150 active parts comprised of air, fuel, oil and cabin filters for a complete offering of the filters needed for an optimised driving experience.
